HP Insight Management WBEM Providers 2.80 SNMP Data Migration Guide

1 Introduction

The purpose of this document is to assist customers in mapping the Compaq enterprise SNMP MIB

variables to corresponding WMI properties in the root\HPQ namespace provided by the HP Insight

Management WMI Providers. No attempt has been made to map into the standard Windows

root\cimv2 namespace except where root\cimv2 has a property that matches a Compaq enterprise

MIB variable.

The table will give the class, property and namespace of the WMI value. These tables will also

note where properties have been deprecated in the Compaq enterprise MIB. There will be no WMI

implementations for these deprecated items. Additionally, only MIB leaf nodes are candidates for

WMI properties.
