April 2011, Version Control 6.3.0 release
Following are the product enhancements for the HP Version Control 6.3.0 April 2011 release:
HP Version Control Agent (VCA) adds the following enhancement with the current release:
• Support for including hardware ID in the VCA matchup algorithm.
• Support for decoupling the hardware discovery from the System Management Homepage browsing
and move to a dedicated thread.
• Support for HP SUM 4.1.1 version.
• Support for new operating systems:
Windows Small Business Server 2011•
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 for x64
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 for x86
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for x64, Update 6
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 for x86, Update 6
• Support for Proliant DL980 G7 CPLD firmware components.
HP Version Control Repository Manager (VCRM) adds the following enhancements with the current release:
• Support for configuring VCA's to the VCRM where port 2301 is disabled.
• Support for a browse button to select the VCRM repository location.
• Support for archiving the older support packs and components.
• Support for including hardware ID matchup algorithm.
