14. [ICG: Step 23] Follow the Insight Management installation instructions to complete the
installation. You have successfully completed the installation if each component is
marked successfully installed or successfully upgraded and Product Configuration is
marked successfully completed. Otherwise, if all components install or upgrade
successfully, Product Configuration is marked completed with errors and you receive a
pop-up dialog box from the HP Insight Management Installer with the text Error
creating install event in HP Systems Insight Manager, your installation is usable. You
may ignore the completed with errors message and continue. Otherwise, diagnose and
correct any errors and retry the installation after restoring from the system restore
point that was created before installing the primary system.
Optional: Installing an Insight Management 7.2 Update
You can choose to install an Insight Management 7.2 update on the primary system at this point in
the installation procedure. See Appendix C: Applying Insight Management Incremental Updates for
more information about installing an update. See How to run the Incremental Update Installer in
Appendix C for details about running the incremental installer.
After any Incremental update is installed, Insight Management Software Patches may then also be
applied. See Appendix D: Applying Insight Management Software Patches for more details.
Note:
It is not advised to run Insight Management or configure Insight Management on the primary
cluster node at this time. The installation on secondary cluster node is required to be completed
before these tasks are performed.
