SystemDrive Drive label for the system drive the operating system is installed
SystemDiskNumber Physical drive number for the system drive the operating system is installed. This
custom attribute is not meant to be set by the end user. It is set automatically during build plan execution and
is used to make sure the Windows installer does not install to the Intelligent Provisioning flash drives. During
re-provisioning, this value might be left over from a previous installation and cause the install to fail. Deleting
the custom attribute before running the build plan solves this.
ProLiant SW - Install Linux SPP
ProLiant SW - Install Windows SPP
Installs the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) on a Windows or Linux production target server.
By default, the entire SPP will be installed on the server, including firmware. Options can be passed to the Install Linux
SPP, Install Windows SPP, or Install Windows SPP In Background step that can control what gets installed. See the HP
SUM User Guide for information regarding what options are available.
Beginning with IC server provisioning release 7.3.1, the ProLiant SW - Install Windows SPP build plan will reset the agent
to account for NIC drivers or firmware that may have been updated; hence, causing the connection to be temporarily
broken between the target server and the appliance. An additional Wait for SA Agent step was added before the Reboot
step.

HP ProLiant server with iLO and running a production operating system

Linux service OS to complete the update. The firmware will be updated to latest version available on the media server or
the IPversion custom attribute may be defined for a specific version.
IMPORTANT: This build plan must PXE boot the target server, as updating the Intelligent Provisioning firmware while
booted to an Intelligent Provisioning service OS is not supported.

Optional Custom Attribute:

Updates the firmware using the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP).
IMPORTANT: With IC server provisioning 7.3.1, this build plan will only run when the target server is booted to the
Intelligent Provisioning service OS available on ProLiant Gen8 or newer servers. Attempts to run this build plan on target
servers prior to Gen8 or on servers that are PXE booted will result in a failure of the build plan with an appropriate
message.
