Subnet mask or
CIDR
Description: This is the IPv4 mask representing the bits reserved for network identification
(for example, 255.255.255.0) , or the Classless Internet Domain Routing (CIDR)
mask representing the number of bits reserved for network identification. Valid
CIDR values are 1 to 30, inclusive. If you have DHCP running on your network,
this field will initially show the value assigned by DHCP.
Default value: None
Required: This field is required if you are specifying a gateway.
Gateway address Description: You may edit this field only if you selected Manual address assignment, in which
case it is not required but HP strongly suggests configuring it to ensure access
to the appliance. This is the IP address for the network interface on your router.
If you have DHCP running on your network, this field will initially show the value
assigned by DHCP.
Default value: None

10.12.1 HP Insight Control server provisioning Media Server setup utility download
The HP Insight Control server provisioning Media Server setup utility is provided by HP to help you
configure an existing Windows system as a host for your Media Server. The setup tool configures
a Windows file share, copies OS distribution files to the correct location on the Media Server, and
sets up HTTP file serving. Use it to set up your Media Server for the first time, or to update an
existing Windows Media Server with newly available software.
A Media Server is required in order to run Insight Control server provisioning. If you do not already
have a Media Server set up on a Windows file share, select Download HP Insight Control server
provisioning Media Server setup utility to download the utility to your system so you can create a
new Media Server. See the HP Insight Control Server Provisioning Installation Guide for details.
10.12.2 Edit Media Server settings fields

File share host Description: This is the IP address or host name of the Windows file share that is hosting the
Media Server.
Data type: Host names are composed of a series of labels concatenated with periods
(<label>.<label>, etc.).
Host names may contain alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and periods
(.).
The host name has a maximum length of 255 characters.
