the data above:
IP addresses (of the appliance, target systems, and connected browsers)
Host names

User names (no passwords are ever collected in a support dump)

NOTE: The support dump file is encrypted so that only authorized HP support personnel are able
to view the contents. Furthermore, in accordance to the HP data retention policy, support dumps
sent to HP are deleted after use.
10.6 Download audit logs

The audit log is intended to help a security administrator understand what related security- actions
took place.
This function lets you gather log files and other information that HP support needs so that it can
diagnose and troubleshoot an appliance.
Prerequisites
Minimum required privileges: Infrastructure Administrator
Procedure 45 Downloading audit logs
1. From the Settings screen, select ActionsDownload audit logs.
2. The appliance generates a compressed file of the audit logs and downloads it to your local
computer.
The compressed file is named audit-logs-yyyy_mm_dd-hh_mm_ss, where yyyy_mm_dd
indicates the date and hh_mm_ss indicates the time the file was created. The name of the
audit log file is displayed on the screen.
If you designated a Download folder in your browser options, the audit log file is downloaded
into that folder. Otherwise, you are prompted where it should be stored.
10.7 Edit HP Support access
HP Support access was enabled or disabled on initial configuration.
You can set your appliance to allow HP Support to access it in extreme cases.

Procedure 46 Enabling or disabling HP Support Access
1. Select ActionsEdit HP support access in the Settings screen.
2. Read and understand the WARNING statement on this screen.
3. Select the appropriate option:
Select Enabled if you want to allow HP Support to access your appliance.
