For servers with a status of Running an OS Build Plan job, this is available to stop the job. See
“Stopping a running job” (page 79) for more information.
9.5 Stopping a running job
You may stop a job before it completes, with the following conditions:
• You must be an authorized user.
• The job must be a Build Plan type job.
• The overall job must be in the Running state.
• The job on the server must be in the Running state.
• You can only stop execution on one server at a time.
Procedure 41 To stop a running Build Plan on a server
1. From the Jobs screen, select the job running the Build Plan from the main menu.
2. View the servers associated with a running job by selecting Servers or Running.
3. Select in the row of the server for which you want to stop the job. The job must be Running
a Build Plan for the to be available.
4. In the Stop confirmation dialog, select Yes, stop. Note that it might take a moment for the job
to be stopped and have the new status register in the UI.
