For servers with a status of Running an OS Build Plan job, this is available to stop the job. See
“Stopping a running job (page 79) for more information.
9.5 Stopping a running job
You may stop a job before it completes, with the following conditions:
You must be an authorized user.
The job must be a Build Plan type job.
The overall job must be in the Running state.
The job on the server must be in the Running state.
You can only stop execution on one server at a time.
Procedure 41 To stop a running Build Plan on a server
1. From the Jobs screen, select the job running the Build Plan from the main menu.
2. View the servers associated with a running job by selecting Servers or Running.
3. Select in the row of the server for which you want to stop the job. The job must be Running
a Build Plan for the to be available.
4. In the Stop confirmation dialog, select Yes, stop. Note that it might take a moment for the job
to be stopped and have the new status register in the UI.
