These are the platforms the package can be installed on. It can include:Platform

The literal name of the zip file. This can differ from the name in the left side master pane list of
packages.
File name
Where the contents of the package will be installed to on the target servers.Target installation

The file size of the zip file. The value is shown to one decimal point.Size
The total number of files included in this package.Number of files
This uses an MD5 Message-Digest Algorithm.Checksum

8.4 Preinstallation script for a package
This screen displays a listing of the preinstallation script code. This is a read-only view. This script
will run before the package is installed. Preinstallation scripts are optional. They must match the
platform the package supports.
Preinstallation scripts can be used to prepare the target server before a package is unzipped on
it. For example, a script might create a directory or delete any existing files.
The script type must be compatible with the operating system it will run on.
8.5 Postinstallation script for a package
This screen displays a listing of the postinstallation script code. This is a read-only view. This script
will run before the package is installed. Postinstallation scripts are optional. They must match the
platform the package supports.
Postinstallation scripts can be used to make changes to the target server after a package is unzipped.
For example, a script may execute some content that was unzipped in order to change permissions.
The script type must be compatible with the operating system it will run on.
