Selecting Create saves the configuration file with the information as described on the Create
Configuration File page and closes the page to return to the Configuration FilesOverview screen
with the new configuration file selected in the master pane.
Create
Creates the configuration file in the appliance database and remains in the Create Configuration
File screen so you may continue creating files.
Create+
Clears the data you entered on the page.Reset
Exits the Create Configuration File screen.Close
7.4 Deleting configuration files
Remove any configuration file from the scope of the Insight Control server provisioning appliance
by first selecting the configuration file from the master pane list of configuration files, and then
selecting ActionsDelete. This will delete the configuration file from the appliance database.
NOTE: Configuration files supplied by Insight Control server provisioning are read only and may
not be deleted. These configuration files are identified on the Overview screen by having
HP-provided set to Yes.
7.5 Description of a configuration file
The configuration file Description screen displays a full screen, read-only view of the description
for the configuration file currently selected in the master pane list of configuration files. Select
Description from the view menu of any Configuration Files screen to see an full screen view of a
configuration file description.
The description for a configuration file is optional and customer-supplied.
Procedure 39 To edit the description for a configuration file
1. Select the configuration file of interest from the master pane list of any Configuration Files
screen.
2. Select ActionsEdit.
3. Make changes within the Description area of the Edit configuration file screen.
4. Select OK to save your changes on the Edit configuration file screen.
7.6 Editing configuration files
The Edit configuration file screen is available by selecting ActionsEdit from any Configuration
Files screen, or by selecting on the configuration file Overview screen.
If the HP-provided field on the Overview General panel shows Yes, the configuration file was
created by HP and is read only. Save the configuration file to a new name by selecting
ActionsSave as from the Overview screen and then edit that copy.
