• Custom attributes are associated with servers, your facility, and OS Build Plans. If the same
custom attribute name is defined at multiple levels, conflicts are resolved by precedence.
Custom attribute precedence, highest to lowest
1. Servers
2. Facility
3. OS Build Plans
For example, if a custom attribute is defined for a server and defined for an OS Build Plan,
the custom attribute value defined for the server would be used.
6.5 Deleting scripts
Remove any script from the scope of the Insight Control server provisioning appliance by first
selecting the script from the master pane list of scripts, and then selecting Actions→Delete. This will
delete the script from the appliance database.
NOTE: Scripts supplied by Insight Control server provisioning are read only and may not be
deleted. These are identified by the HP-provided field on the Overview General panel showing
Yes.
6.6 Editing scripts
The Edit Script screen is available by selecting Actions→Edit from any script screen, or by selecting
from the script Overview screen.
If the HP-provided field on the Overview General panel shows Yes, the script was created by HP
and is read only. Save the script to a new name by selecting Actions→Save as from the Overview
screen and then edit that copy.
