4.7 Overview screen for servers
The Servers Overview screen tailors its display depending on whether a single server or multiple
servers are selected in the left side master pane list of servers.
This is a read-only view. To edit the server, select or select ActionsEdit.

4.7.1 Information displayed for a single server

The name of this server, fully qualified or not.Host Name
The server state may be one of the following values:Server State
OK the server is managed and in a normal state.
UNREACHABLE the server cannot be contacted by the Insight Control server provisioning
appliance.
MAINTENANCE the server has booted to a service OS and is running a maintenance version
of the SA OGFS agent. Servers in maintenance mode are typically waiting to be provisioned
or are currently being provisioned.
Optional customer-provided text that gives extra information about this server.Description
The ProLiant server or blade server type.Hardware model
The operating system type and version currently running on the server.Operating system
This area provides information on the networking for each of the Network Interface Controllers
(NICs) on this server:
Network
Name the name assigned to the NIC by the operating system.
IP the IP address of the NIC. If there is no IP address listed, the NIC has either not been
configured or not connected to the network.
MAC Address the hardware address of the NIC.
The production NIC IP address used to communicate with Insight Control server provisioning.Deployment
interface
The IP address of the server’s iLO.iLO IP address
The number of physical CPU chips of each type on the server.CPU sockets
The amount of memory on the server.Memory
The serial number assigned to the server.Serial number
The Universally Unique Identifier. Since serial numbers might not be unique across models or
vendors, the UUID is a way to identify a server.
UUID
A unique ID assigned to the server by Server Automation.SA object ID
