3.1.4 Change the IP address of the appliance
A static IP address and computer name should be set on the appliance as part of the setup. However,
if it is essential to change the IP address after installation without reinstalling, use the following
steps.
Procedure 2 To change the IP address of the appliance
1. Select Settings from the main menu.
2. Select in the Appliance pane.
3. In the IPv4 section, enter the new Appliance IP address in the Appliance IP address.
3.1.5 Know which OS versions and servers are supported
The Operating Systems and servers supported by Insight Control server provisioning are provided
in the HP Insight Management 7.2 Support Matrix, available at https://www.hp.com/go/
insightmanagement/docs.
3.1.6 Activate Insight Control server provisioning
Licensed users must activate Insight Control server provisioning by retrieving a key via an HP web
address and entering the key via the appliance UI. See “Activating Insight Control server
provisioning” (page 80) for instructions.
