To get started right away
If you haven’t already, make sure you have:
• Created a Media Server: See the HP Insight Control Server Provisioning Installation Guide
• Set up WinPE: “About uploading WinPE” (page 87)
• Added Windows product keys: “Editing product key settings” (page 92)
• Enabled DHCP: “Editing DHCP settings and uploading WinPE” (page 87)
then follow these steps. Refer to the “Troubleshooting index” (page 101) if necessary.

Discover a server
1. Go to the Servers page by selecting Servers from the main menu.
2. If there are no servers discovered yet by IC server provisioning, select the Add server link in
the master pane.
If there are servers already discovered, select Actions→Add Server.
