Suggested action
Replace the Windows 2014.02.0 driver package step with the 2013.09b driver package in
your Build Plan. After the installation completes with the older drivers, you can run the
2014.02.0 SPP Build Plan to get the latest drivers.
The SPP version 2014.02.0 has an iSCSI driver that causes problems with SLES11 SP2 and SLES11
SP3 on servers that have an Emulex Controller configured with iSCSI.
For SLES11 SP2, you see an error message An error occurred during the installation.
For SLES11 SP3, you see an error message Installation of package
./suse/master-bboot-code-1.14-70.11.i586.rpm failed.
Suggested action
If you are attempting to install one of these SLES OSs, you must modify the Build Plan to use the
driver package from the 2013.09b SPP instead of the 2014.02.0. To do this, replace the current
driver package step with the older one named ProLiant Drivers for SLES11 SPx x64 - 2013.09b,
where x is the service pack you are installing. For detailed instructions, see How do I Change the
version of drivers used in a Build Plan in the online help, located at HP Insight Control. After SLES
installation, if you attempt to install the 2014.02.0 SPP, you must remove the following listed drivers
from the SPP on your media server before running the SPP Build Plan. These drivers are located
within the SPP directory at hp\swpackages. If the following drivers are not removed, SLES11
SP2 or SLES11 SP3 fails to boot after SPP installation with the above mentioned error.

HP NC 551m Dual Port FlexFabric 10GB Converged Network Adapter firmware version 4.9.311.20
can cause the server to hang, booting the production OS, or the LinuxPE kernel.
The problem exists on all blade servers with the HP NC 551m Dual Port FlexFabric 10GB Converged
Network Adapter configured with four Flex Fabric modules as interconnects and that also has an
enabled Smart Array controller.
Suggested action
If you already encountered the issue, the firmware on this card must be downgraded to version
4.6.247.5. To prevent this from occurring in the future as part of an SPP installation, the file
cp021166.scexe must be removed from the 2014.02.0 SPP on the media server.
