For VMware ESX, Insight Control virtual machine management directs you to the VMware ESX Server
management website so that you can download VMware Virtual Infrastructure Client.
Launching Remote Desktop
The Remote Desktop for a virtual machine can be launched from the Virtual Machines section of the VM Host
System page, or the VM Control section of the VM Guest System page in HP SIM.
The Remote Desktop option is enabled for a virtual machine guest if:
• The guest has a supporting operating system installed.
• The virtual machine has been identified in HP SIM with a valid IP address.
• The virtual machine is running.
