• Virtual Machine Host Configuration Details
Virtualization—The type of virtualization software installed•
• Alternate Host for—The alternate host information, only if it is set
• Storage details—The disk space information
• Virtual machines—A list of virtual machines associated with the virtual machine host
Status—Icon describing the status of the virtual machine•
• State—Text describing the state of the virtual machine
• VM name—The name of the virtual machine
• System IP address—The IP address of the virtual machine
• System OS name—The operating system name of the virtual machine
• Legend—Link that displays the VMM Status Icon Legend window
• VM control—Controls that enable you to launch the Remote Desktop and the Remote Console, as
well as start, stop, reset, and pause the virtual machine. For Microsoft Hyper-V server, the Launch
SCVMM button appears. For VMware ESX Server, the Launch vCenter button appears. Click the
appropriate button to launch the hypervisor-specific management console.
• Disk partitions—A list of how the disk is separated, its capacity, and percentages of used and available
space
NOTE: For Microsoft Hyper-V server, the Disk name column shows the volume GUID assigned to the
disk volume that has no drive letter.
NOTE: For Citrix XenServer, a forward slash (/) is added at the beginning of the storage repository
name in the Disk partition column.
NOTE: For Xen on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SLES, the value shown under the %Used column reports
the actual usable space in the machine.
• vCenter Server information—Displays the hierarchy for the host as seen in vCenter Server for VMware
ESX server.
