1.5 Enhancements
This release includes support for new servers, operating systems, and virtualization operating
systems.
1.5.1 Support for Service Pack for ProLiant
Insight Control for Linux supports Service Packs for ProLiant (SPP). Service packs and support packs
(PSPs) represent OS-specific bundles of optimized drivers, utilities, and management agents that
provide you with a system software baseline that has already been tested and verified by HP. SPPs
also contain firmware.
You can download either the SPP or the ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) that is appropriate for your
ProLiant server and Linux OS from the following website:
http://www.hp.com/go/hpsc
The SPP is a complete and bootable ISO image file that must be copied to the Insight Control for
Linux repository.

chapter titled Managing the Insight Control for Linux repository in the HP Insight Control for Linux
User Guide.
