Installing the iNode client

Installation prerequisites

The iNode client can run in the following Windows operating systems:

1. 32-bit operating systems

• Windows 2000 Professional

• Windows 2000 Server

• Windows XP

• Windows Server 2003

• Windows Vista

• Windows 7

2. 64-bit operating systems

• Windows XP 64-bit

• Windows Vista 64-bit

• Windows 7 64-bit

NOTE:

Unified authentication is not available in the 32-bit Windows Vista and Windows 7, or 64-bit Windows

operating systems.

Installation procedure

This document illustrates only the procedure of installing the iNode client in Window XP. The installation

procedures in other operating systems are similar.

To install the iNode client, follow these steps:

Step1 Launch the installation wizard.

Consult the administrator to obtain the iNode client installation programs. Log in to the Windows

operating system as Administrator. Double-click the setup program to launch the installation wizard, as

shown in

Figure 1. Then click Next.
