Successful DNS resolution of the hp-print-mgmt hostname or alias (IPv6 Enabled)

Trace 1is an example of a successful DNS resolution of the default hostname of hp-print-

mgmt.domain.company.net. After an unsuccessful attempt at DNS resolve over IPv6, the

device retried over IPv4. Once the hostname resolved to an IP address, the device then

opened up a TCP connection on port 3329. This connection then serves as secure

communication between HP IPSC and the device.

Note:

IPv6 is enabled by default on the device
