Ignite-UX Release Notes HP-UX 11iv1, HP-UX 11iv2, and HP-UX 11iv3 (5900-3360, November 2013)

NOTE: Ignite-UX does not support either LVM volume group versions 2.0 or 2.1 for HP-UX
11i v3.
An updated version of the copy_boot_tape command is shipped in this version of Ignite-UX.
The new version of copy_boot_tape can be used replicate a PA-RISC boot tape to another
PA-RISC boot tape, as well as an IPF boot tape to another IPF boot tape. See
copy_boot_tape(1M) for new options to support PA-RISC as well as IPF boot tapes. The -a, -b,
-m and -r options of the command have been deprecated from this version. The old version of
copy_boot_tape can be found in /opt/ignite/data/scripts/examples/
copy_boot_tape. This will be removed in a later version. There is no guarantee that
copy_boot_tape will successfully copy tapes created by non-Ignite-UX tools.
The "ignite" command has been enhanced to have several new "major modes" for managing
the server and client operations. See the updated ignite(1M) man page for details.
Instance numbers for device class autoch (tape autochangers) will now be preserved during
system recovery.
