Fixes for the following Change Requests:
◦ QXCR1000776474. make_net_recovery(1M) was modified to add a WARNING
regarding support of Auto Port Aggregation (APA).
◦ QXCR1000931459. Extraneous messages regarding missing OE content will no longer
be seen when creating depots from 11.31 media content via server_setup from ignite.
◦ QXCR1000942141. The method to write an IPF recovery tape has been modified so
that it will have a label file after the archive, which should hold the archive end-of-file
and end-of-volume label records.
◦ QXCR1000970192. make_sys_image will no longer check for the existence of the /dev/
dsk and/dev/rdsk directories. These checks were throwing false warnings on HP-UX
B.11.31 clients that had the legacy naming model disabled.
◦ QXCR1000972880. When opening device files, Ignite-UX will now use the O_NDELAY
flag which should help prevent the process from hanging in an unkillable state when it
encounters bad devices.
◦ QXCR1000980485. print_manifest will now report correct processor speed on a
system where hyperthreading is enabled. print_manifest will now call machinfo
to display the CPU details on a per core basis.
◦ QXCR1000982366. The 11.23 IINSTALL was updated with the B.11.23.0909 version
of the IEther-00 driver. It can support the 445978-B21 HP BLc NC360m NIC. This version
of the IEther-00 driver should also be installed on clients wanting to use this LAN card on
a running system.
◦ QXCR1000984836. The add_new_client script has been changed to function on an
Ignite-UX servers configured only to use NFS (i.e. with tftp disabled).
◦ QXCR1000985372. The /usr/sbin/mc command has been added to B.11.23 and
B.11.31 INSTCMDS* for use in expert recovery so that autochanger tape drives can be
managed.
◦ QXCR1000989879. The Japanese localized versions of Ignite-UX UI help files have been
updated.
◦ QXCR1000992604. Ignite-UX will no longer have vgcreate failures during installation
due to duplicate path arguments being passed in with B.11.31 clients.
◦ QXCR1000995198. Additional device handling was added to support the new model
MSA2300sa storage device during recovery installs.
◦ QXCR1000995352. Ignite-UX was changed to use raw device files instead of block
device files. This resulted in widespread performance improvements.
◦ QXCR1001006324. In order for print_manifest to always have access to the latest
template file, /var/opt/ignite/local/manifest/template.def has been moved
to /opt/ignite/manifest/template.def. Any current copy of /var/opt/
ignite/local/manifest/template.def will be saved to /opt/ignite/
manifest/template.def.saved in case it has been customized.
◦ QXCR1001006401. Ignite-UX will no longer display a warning message regarding a
missing /etc/lvmrc file.
◦ QXCR1001029860. Ignite-UX logic to search for a tape volume name during tape based
recovery has been modified so that it recognizes two types of 6-character volume names:
