IMPORTANT: The C.7.17.361 release of Ignite-UX is suspended and is unsupported to use due
to packaging issues. See HP customer advisory c04008140 for additional details. Contact HP
Response center if you face any issue with Ignite-UX version C.7.17.361.
The C.7.17.361 release of Ignite-UX supports the following HP-UX release or architecture
combinations:

After downloading this version from the Web, you can install it on any server running on any one
of the HP-UX releases listed in Table 4.
Ignite-UX version C.7.17.361 includes the following new feature – Support SATA DVD.

This release also includes fixes for the following Change Requests:
• QXCR1001292737 – Ignite now addresses both the naming schemes efficiently across all
versions of VxVM.
• QXCR1001297350 – In Agile-only mode, during recovery ionit will not fail due to negative
instance numbers.
• QXCR1001301043 – Ignite now allows user to proceed with the installation from itool without
entering the networking information if the selected interface is configured as part of Auto Port
Aggregate.
• QXCR1001252115 – Changes to Ignite-UX to automatically cope with active lun changes
on ALUA arrays.
• QXCR1001247114 – Ignite cleans the system from any leftover stale legacy dsf (if any) in
the final phase of the recovery.
• QXCR1001269775 – Ignite now does the error handling more accurately for ctl class of
devices.
• QXCR1001266262 – make_tape_recovery changes to call “pax –A” with –E option. By
default “-A” will not be called.
• QXCR1001255889 – make_*_recovery commands will correctly report what is partially
included and what is completely included.
• QXCR1001262219 – Stale partition devices were removed in recovery.
Notes related to known problems with this release:
QXCR1001268159 – A device that does not support any SCSI level identity such as VPD pages
0x80 and 0x83 may not be recovered correctly.
