Ignite-UX release notes HP-UX 11iv1, HP-UX 11iv2 and HP-UX 11iv3 (5900-2307, April 2012)

◦ QXCR1001006324. In order for print_manifest to always have access to the latest
template file, /var/opt/ignite/local/manifest/template.def has been moved
to /opt/ignite/manifest/template.def. Any current copy of /var/opt/
ignite/local/manifest/template.def will be saved to /opt/ignite/
manifest/template.def.saved in case it has been customized.
◦ QXCR1001006401. Ignite-UX will no longer display a warning message regarding a
missing /etc/lvmrc file.
◦ QXCR1001029860. Ignite-UX logic to search for a tape volume name during tape based
recovery has been modified so that it recognizes two types of 6-character volume names:
type 1 - default HP "month" "day" tape volume name; and type 2 - the user specified
6-character name that does not start with HP.
Notes related to known problems with this release:
◦ A new known issue regarding Integrity i2 system firmware that has no impact on Ignite-UX
operation has been added to this document: 4.5 EFI Firmware Networking Utilities and
Integrity i2 Servers.
Version C.7.10.474 (5/2010 - Web Release Only)
The C.7.10.474 release of Ignite-UX supports the following HP-UX release/architecture combinations:

downloaded from the Web.
Ignite-UX version C.7.10.474 contains the following new features:
Fixes for the following Change Requests:
• QXCR1001006794. A problem with 11.23 HP Integrity client recovery involving SAS disks
and their remapping which would stop the process has been resolved. For network recovery,
an update to this version is sufficient. For tape recovery, either the tape must be recreated
using this version or a boot media of this version must be created, and then the process is
switched to the old tape.

There are no new known problems.
