Ignite-UX release notes HP-UX 11iv1, HP-UX 11iv2 and HP-UX 11iv3 (5900-2307, April 2012)

After downloading from the Web, this version can be installed on any server running on any one
of the above HP-UX releases.
Ignite-UX version C.7.13.259 contains the following new feature:
Fix for the following Change Request:
• QXCR1001120228. Following the replacement of Vx* 5.0 bits by Vx* 5.0.1 in the Operating
Environment of September 2011 release of HP-UX 11i v3, Ignite-UX Install Environment has
been completely updated with the Vx* 5.0.1 drivers and command binaries.

There are no new known problems.

The B.11.31 install kernels have been updated. The VxVM-Tools bundle was updated to the 5.0.1
revision to support the new default layout for VxVM.

• QXCR1001048367. After update-ux, Ignite-UX now reconfigures the required libraries
as it should.
• QXCR1001085082. The list_expander code was modified to include inactive LVM 2.2
volumes in its output.
• QXCR1001086950. Selection and unselection of the post_config_script in itool now
works as expected.
• QXCR1001087891. Loading of scsimgr now goes through as expected when vi is loaded
to edit the configuration or the environment file during installation.
• QXCR1001102442. Ignite-UX now supports any physical memory size even beyond 8TB.
