Ignite-UX Release Notes (5900-3323, October 2013)

Notes related to known problems with this release:
• QXCR1000995198. Recovering systems that have the new HP StorageWorks MSA2000sa
storage adapter hardware will likely have a WARNING message produced. The sequence
will appear like this in the install.log:
◦ Swapping 140 SAS disk(s) to match selected configuration.
◦ Boot device is: 0/3/0/0/0/0.0x0.0x4000000100034002 WARNING: Could not
make needed swaps to get system to match config selected.
◦ Complete restoration of hardware paths can not be achieved due to the above WARNING
message(s). In most cases the installation will complete. Please see the "Ignite-UX and
SAS Devices" white paper at http://www.hp.com/go/ignite-ux-docs for more details.
◦ Mapping LUN Instance Data
The system should be able to boot successfully. However disk instance numbers and hardware
paths may be different from when the recovery image was created.
