Managing HP X9000 Network Storage System Remote Replication Application Note (TA768-96049, November 2011)

Example 2: Run-once replication of a directory
Run-once replications are configured on the New Remote Replication Task dialog box. For this
replication, select Run Once as the Type. Specify the directory to be replicated from the source
cluster and then complete the target side information in the same manner as example 1.
When you click OK, directory /ifs2/src1 on cluster ibrix01 will be replicated to /ifs2/
target2 on cluster ibrix02.
Example 3: Run-once replication of a file system snapshot
In this example, there is a snap tree at the root of the ibfs1 file system on the source cluster. We
will replicate a snapshot from this snap tree using run-once replication.
On the New Remote Replication dialog box, select Run Once as the Type. Check Use a snapshot,
and then select the snap tree and a snapshot from that snap tree. Complete the target side
information in the same manner as example 1.
