Fixes
NOTE: Version 6.5 also includes all fixes that were included in previous 6.3.x maintenance releases.
For descriptions of those fixes, see the HP StoreAll OS 6.3.3 Release Notes, available at: http://
www.hp.com/support/StoreAllManuals.
• After a reboot, it is possible for a node to no longer have ownership of some segments on a file
system. However, other nodes in the cluster may still send messages to that node about various
segments. Previously, when the node was processing these messages, it could fail. Now, the node
will no longer fail when processing these messages.
• Using the ibrix_fs_tune command, you can now change both the preference and policy for
host groups and individual hosts. Previously you could only change the policy.
• When a node is trying to recover connectivity to one or more nodes in a cluster, the StoreAll OS
software now ensures that, during the file system unmount, data being used by the recovery
process is not accidentally removed. Previously, this caused the node to fail.
• If iLO fails to power down during an automatic node failover, the StoreAll OS Software now runs
the appropriate Linux command to ensure the node is powered down successfully, as long as
communication between nodes is healthy. Previously, this issue caused the failover operation to
fail.
• The automated upgrade script (auto_ibrixupgrade) for version 6.5 includes a new function
called wait_for_fm_initialization. This function ensures that there is enough time for
