Getting started
The initial installation, performed at the factory, installs the operating system and X9000 Software
on the management console and file serving nodes. HP Services personnel configure the
management console and file serving nodes at the customer site. This is the default installation and
configuration method. HP Services also configures Linux and Windows X9000 clients, up to 10
clients total.
IMPORTANT: Before starting the installation, check for any patches on the HP kiosk: http://
www.software.hp.com/kiosk. You will need your HP-provided login credentials.
