NOTE: If it is not possible to ping the bond0 interface on each server after the network
restarts, it will still be possible to connect a browser session to the iLO to get a console session
to fix the issue, or you can use the KVM console.
15. Change Onboard Administrator addresses:
a. Connect a browser session to Onboard Administrator at http://172.16.1.1 (User=exds
Password=hpinvent).
b. Go to Enclosure settings >Enclosure bays IP addressing >device bays.
c. Change the first IP and click Autofill.
d. Click Apply.
e. Go to the Interconnect bays tab and change the IP in the same way.
f. Go to the Enclosure TCP/IP on the left pane.
g. Change both OA IP addresses (you will be disconnected).
h. Allow the OA one minute to restart, and then check if you can to connect to OA:
http://192.168.1.1.
Configuring the agile management console
To configure the agile management console, complete the following steps:
• Install the active agile management console. Select the server that will host the active instance
of the agile management console. Install the management console on this node:
./ibrixinit -tm -C <Cluster_IF> -v <VIF_IP> -m <VIF_NETMASK> -d
<VIF_DEVICE> -w 9009 -M active -F
For example:
./ibrixinit -tm -C bond1 -v 192.168.56.20 -m 255.255.255.0 -d bond1:0
-w 9009 -M active –F
• Install the file serving node software on the first file serving node:
./ibrixinit -ts -C bond1 -i <Cluster_IF_IP_Addr> -F
For example:
./ibrixinit -ts -C bond1 -i 192.168.56.20 -F
• Install the file serving node software on the remaining file serving nodes:
./ibrixinit -ts -C bond1 -i -i <Cluster_IF_IP_Addr>
Be sure to omit the -F option. For example:
./ibrixinit -ts -C bond1 -i 192.168.56.20
• Install the passive instance of the agile management console. Select the server that will host
the passive agile management console and run the following command:
./ibrixinit -tm -C <Cluster_IF> -v <VIF_IP> -m <VIF_NETMASK> -d
<VIF_DEVICE> -w 9009 -M passive -F
For example:
./ibrixinit -tm -C bond1 -v 192.168.56.20 -m 255.255.255.0 -d bond1:0
-w 9009 -M passive -F
