DETAILS:
Shutdown
Disable HA from the FM
ibrix_host -m -U
Unmount filesystems
On clients: ibrix_lwumount -f <fsname>
On Windows Client:
Stop all applications accessing Ibrix File System from the client system.
Unmount Ibrix File System using Ibrix Client GUI i.e. (I: DRIVE)
Go to Services and stop fusion service
On FM:
ibrix_umount -f <fsname>
Verify all filesystems are unmounted
ibrix_fs -l
Shutdown segment servers first; on Servers run
shutdown -t now “now”
Shutdown FM;on FM run
shutdown -t now “now”
Power Up
Power up FM first
Power up segment servers (*root segment owner first)
Monitor servers at FM and wait for them to all report “UP”
ibrix_host -l –S
Remount filesystems
Remount filesystems and verify content
On FM: ibrix_mount -f fsname -m <mountpoint>
On clients: ibrix_lwmount -f fsname -m <mountpoint>
Enable HA
ibrix_host -m
