NOTE: Windows Server 2003 is compatible with ACS V8.7-1 or higher.

Known Limitations

In Windows 2000, if any LUN greater than 7 is removed and a subsequent disk rescan

is performed, the Found New Hardware wizard may ask you to finish the installation

of the device that was removed. The Device Manager may show the device with a

yellow warning icon on it. A reboot of the system completely removes the device.

The following are known additions and corrections to the HSG80 ACS Solution

Software Version 8.7 Installation and Configuration Guide.

• In order to successfully perform a rolling upgrade on controllers connected to

Windows 2000 hosts, the change to “Solution Software Upgrade Procedures,”

found on page 3-24, must be observed. See sections "Disk Partitioning", page 41,

and "Rolling Upgrades", page 27, of these Release Notes for further details.
