FC Switch Support Updates
The following updates and changes to supported FC Switch products are included in
this Solution Software Version 8.7A release:
• Support for the 8/16 Port Fibre Channel Storage Switches (DS-DSGGA-AA
[380591-B21] and DS-DSGGA-AB [380578-B21]) was discontinued because
these switches are limited to four switch, two-hop maximum configurations.
• Firmware for all 1 Gbps SAN Switch products was upgraded to v2.6.0h.
• Added support for the following FC switches, many of which provide 2 Gbps
switch support:
— SAN Switch 2/16 (16 Ports FC, 2 Gbps)
— SAN Switch 2/8-EL (8 Ports FC Entry Level, 2 Gbps)
— SAN Switch 2/16-EL (16 Ports FC Entry Level, 2 Gbps)
