Backing up Power with a UPS
By default, the controller expects to use an external cache battery
(ECB) as backup power to the cache module. You can also opt to use an
uninterruptable power supply (UPS) to provide backup power in the
event of a primary power failure. See Appendix B, “CLI Commands,”
for details about the SET THIS_CONTROLLER CACHE_UPS
command. See Table 1-7 on page 1–22 and Table 1-8 on page 1–24 for
information about cache policies.
