3. Choose 3) Agent Disable/Stop
4. Choose 4) Uninstall Agent
NOTE: This OpenVMS uninstallation All client and storage files will be preserved.
To remove agent software only and save client and storage data:
1. Halt SWCC agent
2. $ @sys$manager:swcc_config
3. Choose 3) Agent Disable/Stop
4. Choose E) Exit configuration procedure.
5. $ product remove swcc
The second effort is upgrade the HS-Series Agent on OpenVMS:
1. Install the new SWCC Agent using the POLYCENTER Software Installation
utility.
a. Copy the OpenVMS installation file from the Solution Software CD-ROM.
b. Install the new Agent using the instructions provided. For example:
$ product install <product-name>
2. Upgrade ACS to Version 8.7 using the instructions provided in the StorageWorks
HSG60/HSG80 Array Controller ACS Version 8.7 Maintenance and Service
Guide. Refer to the rolling upgrade procedure section and read it carefully before
attempting the upgrade.
