Why Use StorageWorks Command Console (SWCC)?
StorageWorks Command Console (SWCC) enables you to monitor and configure the
storage connected to the HSG80 controller. SWCC consists of Client and Agent.
The client provides pager notification and lets you manage your virtual disks. The
client runs on Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2 and 3 and Windows NT 4.0
with Service Pack 6A or above.
The agent obtains the status of the storage connected to the controller. It also
passes the status of the devices connected to the controller to other computers and
provides email notification and error logging.
To receive information about the devices connected to your HSG80 controller over a
TCP/IP network, you must install the Agent on a computer that is connected to a
controller.
