Monitoring Network Interfaces

Conﬁguring Network Monitoring Requests

Table 4-2 recommends monitoring requests for each node. With these requests, you

would see events when a LAN card fails, and again when it came back up, and you

would see an event each hour as long as the LAN card was down. You may elect to

change the polling interval or not to conﬁgure a reminder at all.
