Setting Up the Servers
To prepare the Continuous Access solution for setup, refer to the ProLiant cluster
documentation. Follow the installation instructions in the ProLiant server
documentation.
Setting Up the Storage Subsystem
Refer to the documentation that was shipped with the storage subsystem for detailed
installation instructions.
Setting Up the Fibre Channel Adapters
Two FCAs must be installed on each host. For detailed installation instructions, refer
to the documentation that comes in the host kit or with your adapter.
Locate and record the World Wide Names (WWNs) of each FCA on the zoning
worksheet provided at the end of this chapter. Keep a copy of the worksheets at all
your sites. In addition, record the WWNs for the EVA and the SMAs for each site.
NOTE: The WWN can be found on the bottom of the FCA board. Look for a small bar code
label with an IEEE precursor. A WWN example is 1000-0000-C920-A5BA.
