Continuous Access
Refer to the HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA Operations Guide for
detailed information on Continuous Access, including any restrictions. Table 2-1
outlines the restrictions that are specific to the HA/F500 Enhanced DT cluster
configuration.
Table 2-1: Continuous Access Restrictions

Maximum of 16 storage systems on SAN.
Storage system is visible to only one
Command View EVA instance at a time.
A disk group must contain at least eight
physical drives.
For best availability, disk drives in the group
should be multiples of eight.

Availability Considerations.
There is a maximum of 8 copy sets per
DR group.
There is a maximum of 128 DR groups.
Each HSV controller pair can support
240 physical disk drives.
Dual HSV controllers can support up to
512 Vdisks in a storage pool.
One storage system supports a maximum of
128 copy sets (or DR group members).
Vdisk capacity can range from 1 GB to 2 TB.
Each storage system cannot contain more than
32 TB of presented virtual disks capacity.
All servers must have at least one pair, and not
more than three pairs, of single channel FCA, or
the equivalent in dual channel FCA.
No support provided for servers with only one
single port FCA at this time.
