18. Verify that there is only one new connection (!NEWCONXX) for Server 1.
NOTE: The “XX” in “!NEWCONXX” refers to the connection number.
19. Type the following command and press Enter to rename the single connection to
be available for the redundant path:

NOTE: Use a naming convention that will be easy to understand and remember. For
example: NODE1B where Node 1 is the server and B stands for the bottom storage
controller in the storage subsystem. B assumes that the maintenance cable is plugged
into the other controller.
rename !NEWCONXX NODE1B
20. Type the following command and press Enter:
show connections
21. Verify that the new connection name is properly set.
22. Boot the second server. Log in to the domain when the log-in screen appears.
23. Go back to the CLI window, type the following command, and press Enter:
show connections
24. The second server connection should now be present as well. If not, reboot the
second server and try again.
