0x00010434 An error occurred
reading from
garbage collection
file
Error: The garbage collection
file could not be read. This
occurs during cleanup or when
files are deleted or replaced in
a managed volume.
Restart FMA services and
contact HP Support if the
problem persists.
0x00010435 Storage descriptor
data does not fit
into buffer
Error: The storage descriptor
data does not fit into the
processing buffer. This occurs
during a cleanup operation and
the file storage descriptor is
too long to process.
Restart FMA services and
contact HP Support if the
problem persists.
0x00010436 Garbage collection
log is not in the
expected format
Error: An item in the garbage
collection list is not in the
expected format. This occurs
during a cleanup operation and
the file list entry cannot be
determined.
FMA cleanup tries to
resynchronize with the start of
the next entry. Contact HP
Support if the problem persists.
0x00010501 Connection to
configuration
server failed
Error: HSM service was
unable to connect to the
configuration service. This
occurs during FMA startup
when the hsmsvc waits for the
configuration service to start or
during initial cluster setup.
Check for errors to determine
whether the configuration
service is not running or failed.
See the cluster configuration
section for more information if
the system is part of a cluster.
0x00010502 Remote-Request-
Protocol violation
Error: An error in RRP
protocol occurred. This can
occur during internal message
passing within FMA and the
message received is not
formatted correctly.
Restart FMA services and
contact HP Support if the
problem persists.
0x00010503 Incompatible RRP
protocol version
Error: An RRP message was
received and its tagged
protocol version does not
match the receiving function's
version. This can occur if
internal FMA modules in the
install directory are replaced
with incompatible modules
from another release version.
Check the FMA installation
and perform a repair install if
needed. If there is no reason
for this to occur, contact HP
Support.
