NOTE: You can use the simpler EvmConnCreateSubscriber macro in place of
EvmConnCreate to create a subscribing connection. This macro requires fewer arguments than
EvmConnCreate.
Although it offers fewer connection options, it is suitable for use by most subscribing applications.
