Installing Event Manager Clients
You can add new events to the event set as new applications are installed
and as new administrative scripts are developed to use the facilities. As
events are added, it may be necessary to modify Event Manager
configuration and authorization files, and to add new templates. For
more information on changing the authorization for new users, see “User
Authorization” on page 73.
To add new event templates, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Create new template files as described in Event Templates.
Step 2. Copy the template files to the /var/evm/adm/templates directory or to a
subdirectory.
Step 3. Enter the evmreload command, specifying the -d option, to signal the
Event Manager daemon to reload its internal template database.
