Requirements for HP OpenView Users:

You must conﬁgure templates into HP OpenView ITO or NNM to view EMS events. To

download the latest templates from the web site

Hardware Requirements

EMS version A.04.00.02 runs on HP 9000 servers running HP-UX 11i v1.

Disk Requirements

You will have to allocate approximately 8 MB of disk space on an HP-UX system to install

EMS.

EMS requires 4 MB disk space in the /etc/opt directory for the following log ﬁles:

• api.log
