Event Monitoring Service Version A.03.20 Release Notes
What’s New in this Version
The MIB Monitors:
HA Cluster Monitor checks the status of ServiceGuard clusters,
nodes, or packages and services.
HA Network Interface Monitor reports the status of LAN
interfaces.
HA System Resource Monitor checks the number of users, system
load, and file system space.
EMS can be used with:
HP OpenView, ServiceGuard, and any other software that can receive
SNMP traps, TCP, or UDP protocol messages
text to email, console, syslog or regular files that use text messages
Users can write their own monitors, using the EMS Developers’ Kit. For

Availability, then Event Monitoring Service Developers’ Kit.

What’s New in this Version
The A.03.20 version of Event Monitoring Service is a minor release. The
contents of Event Monitoring Service releases A.03.00 through A.03.10
have been incorporated, including the A.03.10 patch line. Event
Monitoring Service A.03.20 supports the same configurations as A.03.00
through A.03.10 releases.
In Version A.03.20, EMS added a new state to the package monitor:
UNAVAIL. If the monitor currently does not have sufficient information
to determine status, the current value for the resource is set to
UNAVAIL. This was done primarily to correct problem (JAGab77628)
listed below under Fixes and Changes, Corrected Defects.
