0CxD Expansion rack requirements
• One existing 2CxD main rack containing a properly wired controller pair and disk enclosures
(see Figure 1 (page 6)).
The controllers may be above or in the middle of the disk enclosures, depending on the number
of disk enclosures and how the rack was initially configured. Figure 1 (page 6) is an example
only, showing six disk enclosures below the EVA8400 controllers.
• The main rack must be running properly.
• A new 0CxD expansion rack containing properly wired disk enclosures (see Figure 2 (page
7)). Figure 2 (page 7) is an example only, showing six disk enclosures and assuming there
are six disk enclosures in the main rack.
