5. Select the World Wide N o de Name of the storage system for which you want to enable password
access.
6. Type the password in the Password and Confirm password fields.
NOTE:
MakesureyouusethesamepasswordyouenteredintotheHSVcontrollerOCP.
7. Click Ena bl e Password.
A message box opens.
8. Click OK.
HP Command View EVA enables password access to the storage system.
Step 10: Installing SMI-S EVA (optional)
The Storage Management Initiative Specification (SMI-S) is a standard interface sponsored by the Storage
Networking Industry Association (SNIA). SMI-S enables HP and other storage vendors to develop products
to a single standard and eliminates the need for custom or manual integration of HP storage solutions in
multivendor environments. You can install SMI-S EVA 4 .1 after installing HP Command View EVA 4.1.

Step 11: Upgrading Replication Solutions Manager (optional)
If Replication Solutions Manager (RSM) is installed, you must upgrade it to version 1.2. RSM is an
optional interface for HP Business Copy EVA and HP Continuous Access EVA.
