Make sure you are using a suppor ted browser and JRE. The Storage Management Appliance software

may not work cor

rectly with an unsupported browser and JRE.

NOTE:

If you need to update the Internet browser version on your remote computers, do so after you have

upgraded to Storage Management Appliance software 2.1 and HP Comma nd View EVA 4.1.

Required licenses

If you are adding replication capability to the storage system as part of the upgrade, you need the

following licenses:

• HP StorageWorks Business Copy EVA (for snapshots and snapclones)

• HP StorageWorks Continuous Access EVA (for remote data replication)

If replication is already enabled on the storage system, the existing licenses will work with VCS 3.028XCS

5.031.
