Details about Installed Components and Software
The IBM AIX Kit V3.0B for Enterprise Virtual Array software contains two
additional filesets besides device support and SSSU. These filesets are:
■ hp_fibreutils.com
■ hsv_snapshot.rte
The hsv-stapshot.rte fileset is described in the section “Using hsv_snapshot.rte”
on page 44. The hp_fibreutils.com fileset is described in the next section.
Functionality of hp_fibreutils.com
The hp_fibreutils.com fileset contains the following utilities:
hpdriver—this utility collects system information that may be of use to HP
support.
lshsv—lists all the HSV110 devices on your system. It also appends CCL to LUN
0s so that disks that should not be used for i/o are specified.
lun_info—displays information on LUNs coming from a IBM 6227 or 6228 FC
card. IBM 6227 and 6228 cards are not supported with this kit.
restore_defaults—this utility restores the default settings to system directories in
/usr and /tmp.This script is included because the V2.0 platform kit for AIX
contained a problem where these directories were unnecessarily modified.
show_path—displays redundant path information if Secure Path is installed.
show_wwid—displays the World Wide Names of the FC adapters on your system.
