Uninstalling the IBM AIX Kit V3.0B on an HACMP Cluster
The uninstall procedure is the same as for a standalone node (see “Installing the
IBM AIX Kit” on page 26).
You should remove any volume groups that are associated with any Enterprise
Virtual Array disks before you execute either hp_hsv_uninstall or the
UNINSTALL utility.
Uninstall the IBM AIX Kit V3.0B for Enterprise Virtual Array on each node in
the cluster.
Adding a Virtual Disk to an HACMP Cluster
Adding a virtual disk in an HACMP cluster is slightly different than adding a
virtual disk to be used by a standalone node. The differences are in adding a host
using and adding a volume group in the cluster that will be used by HACMP. Each
is described in the following sections.
Adding a Host for Use by an HACMP Cluster
From the host nodes in the cluster:
1. Determine the active Cambex adapters by issuing the command:
/usr/lpp/cbxfc/cbxfcsm listadapt
The output should look similar to:
# Device Status
scsi2 Active
scsi3 Active
2. Find out what the World Wide Names of the adapters are by issuing the
command:
show_wwid
The output should look similar to:
scsi2: 500502E0100009FE
scsi3: 500502E01000018B
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for each node in the HACMP cluster.
4. Add the host from Command View EVA.
