The following items are included in the HP StorageWorks EVA3000/5000 Series v4.0 Controller
Media Kit.
• Upgrade License
• HP StorageWorks EVA3K/5K VCS v4.004 system soft ware CD. Also included on this media
is VCS 3.028.
• HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array 3000/5000 Documentation CD-ROM
HP StorageWorks Command View EVA 4.1.2 or later is required to acc ess all the features and bene fits
provided by VCS v4.004.
NOTE:
The EVA3000/5000 ships with VCS 3.028 pre -installed. The EVA30 00/5000 Series v4.0 Controller
Media Kit contains both 4.004 and 3.028 system software, enabling you to choose the VCS version
that supports your multipathing configuration.
